You can help change the lives and the future of the poor in India
For the poor and destitute in India like many other places in the world, it’s a constant challenge to provide the daily needs of life. The cost of food, fuel, education and other basic necessities is always rising.
Yet disadvantaged people in rural villages need these things if they are to rise up out of poverty and enter into the community confident, equipped, and ready to be the ‘salt and light” that God intended them to be.
ZEST is already making a difference in the lives of people in India but we cannot do it alone.
We rely on God to touch people’s hearts, to inspire them to join with us in this rewarding work. You could be one of these people. Would you like to change the life of at least one child or a widow in India?
Your gift will give real hope and a bright future to the poor in India, and better equip the pastors who bring the life-transforming gospel to them.
Here are some ways you can make a difference to the poor in rural India
Sponsor a Pastor
Sponsor a pastor costs $80 per month. This provides a very small income and some training and resources for the pastor. Your support will enable the pastors to do their gospel ministry more effectively, knowing they have brothers and sisters, who pray for them and support them in this way.
Sponsoring a Child
Sponsoring a child costs $30 per month. This provides the basic essentials for feeding and educating children saving them from a life of petty theft or prostitution for survival. Such a small amount really does make a big difference to the child’s prospects for the sort of life we take for granted.
Sponsor a Widow or Aids Women
To be destitute and a woman in India can be a harsh existence particularly if they are a widow. ZEST supports such women by offering vocational and life skills training so they can in turn bless their community. Help us by sponsoring a widow for $20 a month.

Zest’s Gift Catalogue
The ZEST Gift Catalogue contains a range of very practical things that are needed to support ZEST projects in India – ranging from motorbikes, to sporting equipment, to Bibles, to desks, to sewing machines! These are things we often take for granted, but they make such a great difference to the pastors, widows and children of ZEST. Why not purchase some items from our gift catalogue on behalf of someone else in place of a birthday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or Christmas gift?
Sports Equipment $50
Indians love sport. This gift offers fun and healthy childhood development through good exercise and team sports.
Motorcycles for Pastors $ 2500
Helping pastors and evangelists be more effective in their outreach efforts. Every evangelist who receives a motorcycle is better able to plant more churches because of his enhanced mobility in the area in which he ministers.
Sewing Machine $ 150
A sewing machine is one of the simplest and most effective resources to give to help women with aids or widows empowering them to earn a respectable living as seamstresses, so they can support their families.
Classroom Desk $ 60
This is essential equipment to support the education of the children at the ZEST school.
